Last evening, LifeStar instructors and crew visited Dunn’s Corners Fire to provide an informative training session for our members. The session covered everything from LifeStar operations and when to call for a helicopter, to safety protocols for landing zones, and how we can work together to provide the best patient care possible.

The highlight of the evening was when a LifeStar helicopter landed behind DCFD Station #2, giving our team the opportunity for an up-close tour and a chance to explore the helicopter’s interior.

A huge thank you to the entire LifeStar crew for such an engaging and educational experience.
We were also thrilled to have our neighbors from the Charlestown Fire District join us for the training, with over 30 volunteers combined from both departments participating. We’re looking forward to more collaborative training opportunities in the future!
